Hi, Shaun Pollington here, also known as Shaunie P, I own and operate Shaunie P Music® and Music For Fun® throughout the Newcastle, Lake Macquarie and Maitland areas.

In 2005, after moving to Newcastle from Dungog, I began operating my Music For Fun® services to provide an avenue for disability groups to connect and expand their horizons through the wonderful world of music.

I have been contracting my Music For Fun service to ADHC at Stockton Centre, Kanangra Centre (Morisset Hospital) and Casuarina Grove (Wyong) and numerous NGO’s including Samaritans, House With No Steps, Biala Support Services and Firstchance.

My service is extremely well received and my sessions are fun, full of varied activities, popular and always full.

Clients actively seek my service and request it to be part of their management plan.

My Background

During the 1990’s and early 2000’s, I worked in the Community Welfare Sector both in Youth Services and Aged Care. I had a great rapport with the people I supported and built a trust in the community as a trustworthy, engaging and supportive community member which lead me to be nominated for Citizen of the Year Award 2002 - Dungog Shire - for Achievements and dedication to youth and community through co-ordination and delivery of services and events.

I have been involved in the entertainment industry as Shaunie P Music® for well over 30 years and my experience ranges from musician, band member and songwriter, to sound engineer, theatre technician and festival/entertainment/event coordinator.
